Suzuki Motor Cycle Parts

Whether you own a $13,000 Hayabusa or a $6000 Suzuki GS550F sportbike or if you have a more modest budget and less a thrill seeker budget you might have cruiser such as Boulevard S40.

At some time you will probably need to replace or renew some of the motorcycles parts. Now if your GSR blows an exhaust after 3 months you'll expect it repaired under warranty but some repairs or replacements are just unlucky or just happen

What if you break a headlamp or get to close to car and scrape a part of your bike or if part just breaks or snaps or wears out.

Then you have to decide do you replace with an OEM (main dealer) part which is probably a no brainer if the bike is under warranty as non OEM parts will usually void the warranty immediately. Or do you look to purchase parts on the motorcycle aftermarket.

Well if I had a brand new Vstrom I'd choose OEM every time but my 5 year old GSR well that's been running with aftermarket parts for several years now and it runs like a dream.

Actually that's not strictly true as I could be misleading you many of the parts are infact aftermarket but they actually cost more than the OEM equivallent. After all I put an Akrapovic exhaust system on it which makes the original look like a pussycat.

Suzuki after market parts are readily availabe and because they are always in great demand you'll find prices can be pretty competative and you can make some good savings when compared with OEM Suzuki parts.

My advice is check carefully the website and make sure they a reputable company (if in doubt Google them to see if their are any bad reports). Provided every thing checks out take the extra precaution of paying with a credit card and also check out their returns policy.

If you are really squeezed for cash you can also check out second hand parts for most Suzuki motorcycles they could save you a good deal but always be wary of scams. I have brought parts on eBay and from dealers and both have their pluses and minuses.

If you have time eBay can be a good option otherwise stick to the many dealers of scond hand Suzuki motorcycle parts.
